Curriculum

At Bloom and Grow, we teach Kindergaten through 5th grade students in small group settings, with classes capped at 12 students. Our secular curriculum is designed in-house by a former Gifted and Talented Teacher. We use the Arizona State Standards as guidance to meet short and long term academic goals. Education is tailored to each student's individual needs through small group instruction, project based learning, inquiry based research projects, educational websites, STEAM and critical thinking.

We have a lower elementary pod and an upper elementary

Overview

Our curriculum is designed by our in-house curriculum team. Resources include (but are not limited) to project-based learning, STEM projects, supplemental online programs, research projects, presentations, games, centers, small group learning, one-on-one learning and more. Learning platforms we use include (but are not limited to) Beast Academy, Learning AZ, Reading Eggs, and more!

Spiral Learning

Students will get direct instruction on a topic, practice the topic and will learn or review a different topic in the following lesson. Throughout the school year, the student will revisit the topic until the topic is mastered. Students will learn at their own pace depending on learning gaps or topics the student already has an understanding of.

Daily Routines

Students learn one-on-one with the teacher, with partners, in small groups and whole group lessons.

All students will have phonics lesson and will read or be read to every day.

Many Units will include ELA, Math, Science AND Social Studies.
